The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, September 25 features things getting real between Sonny and Paul as they discuss the elephant in the room named Will.
Unresolved Feelings
Paul was hurt and pushed Sonny (Freddie Smith) to open up about Will (Chandler Massey), knowing how much Lucas’s (Bryan Dattilo) words had upset him. Sonny was afraid he’d hurt Paul if he said what was on his mind, but eventually he opened up.
After Sonny confessed his love for Will, he also admitted that Paul (Christopher Sean) was his first love – not Will. While he does wish Will was still alive, he is very happy that Paul is the one he is spending the rest of his life with and is extremely proud to be marrying him.
A New Tact
Bonnie (Judi Evans) made it clear to Sheila (T-Boz) that she hopes to sink her claws into Victor (John Aniston) as a way to get her the money she wants. Victor, of course, wanted nothing to do with her but a call from Xander (Paul Telfer) may have given Bonnie some leverage to use over him.
Haunted By the Past
Eli (Lamon Archey) went to lunch with Abe (James Reynolds) and his mother. Valerie (Vanessa Williams) made it perfectly clear she hopes that Abe will hire Eli, which will keep him in town. Later, Eli ran into Sheila – and it was obvious the two go way back.
In the Running
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) learned that they both expressed interest in the commissioner job. Abe wanted them to decide who should get it but they threw the decision back on him, knowing they’re strong enough to survive his choice.
