The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 18 features Vivian playing with fire – in more ways than one.
Digging for the Truth
Vivian (Louise Sorel) grew nervous as John (Drake Hogestyn) and Chad (Billy Flynn) inched closer to the truth. They found her eavesdropping and questioned her. After she left, they wondered how much she heard.
Open Heart
Andre (Thaao Penghlis) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) were disappointed that Theo (Kyler Pettis) was already gone when they went to say goodbye. Andre then started apologizing for breaking her trust in the past. He asked her why she didn’t tell him Lucas was getting out of rehab today.
He then offered to cover for her while she takes care of Lucas, and said they’ll plan a trip to visit Theo. He then told her he loved her and left. Back at the office, Vivian pushed Andre to fire Gabi for the good of the company and their secret, which he did – shocking her.
Playing Her Like A Fiddle
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) seemed to be having way too much fun getting under Abigail’s (Marci Miller) skin. He asked Gabi (Camila Banus) for a date, irritating both women. Alone, Abby chastised him for sexually harassing Gabi and he wondered if she’s jealous.
Abby slapped him. He asked if they could chalk it up to a misunderstanding and start over. She suggested he look outside the company for dating prospects. Chad called Abby to meet with him where he told her everything John’s found is pointing to Andre as the traitor.
A Helping Hand
Marlena (Deidre Hall) stopped by The Brady Pub at Roman’s (Josh Taylor) request, but unknown to Anna (Leann Hunley), she was there to try to help her in a professional capacity. Marlena tried to get her to make peace with Tony’s death, but Anna caught on and was ticked off at Roman.
Anna told Roman they won’t work if he can’t accept her carrying around Tony’s urn. She then walked out on him. Outside, she found a note that shocked her and we saw she’s being watched.
