Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Trouble Is On The Way!

Days of Our Lives recap (DOOL) for Thursday, September 28 has the wedding participants preparing for the big day while a wedding crasher breaks loose from his restraints and makes a run for it.

You’ve Come A Long Way, Baby
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and JJ (Casey Moss) commended Abigail (Marci Miller) for how far she’s come and let her know she deserves all the good coming her way. Abby said she learned grace from Jennifer, and the two cry happy tears.

Something’s Off
Bonnie (Judi Evans) tried to get the goods when she heard Justin (Wally Kurth) and Victor (John Aniston) talking about “family” business. When they see her, Justin and Victor tried to talk her out of wearing white to the wedding. Bonnie only agrees when Justin says he’ll take her out dancing in it.

Victor then said, “That was weird.” Justin admits she hasn’t been herself. Victor then dropped the bomb that Adrienne threw herself at him. Justin doesn’t believe him but admitted she’s sure been acting strange lately.

Fatherly Advice
Marlena and John helped Paul (Christopher Sean) with his vows by repeating the ones they shared, impressing him with how much they love each other. Paul told them he feels like his real self for the first time – to which Marlena let him know that’s how he should start his vows. He rushed off to finish.

Marlena (Deidre Hall) and John (Drake Hogestyn) then reaffirmed their love for each other. Paul returned back and shows off the awesome vows he wrote. He and John bond after John expresses regret he didn’t raise him. Marlena returned to pick them up and take them to the church on time.

About Face
Kate (Lauren Koslow) shocked everyone by saying she supports Abigail marrying Chad 100%. Chad (Billy Flynn) and Sonny (Freddie Smith) had a heart to heart, reaffirming their strong bond. They toast to love and laughter and to living the dream.

Andre let Kate know he wants them to rework their marriage agreement. He insisted no more kissing in public if they’re to convince the board the marriage is real. She agreed to stay away from Roman if he doesn’t pull any more stunts like the press conference. He also insisted they need to trust each other – for Chad.

The Great Escape
A few weeks ago we saw a mysterious figure at Bayview find the keys to unlock restraints, and now he has escaped. The picture on The Intruder of the double wedding agitated him so it’s a safe bet he’s heading to the church. At the end, the grooms and the bride got a shocking text message. Coincidence?
