Days of Our Lives Recap (DOOL): Tripp And Claire Grow WAY Too Close

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, June 1 features Tripp and Claire commiserating over their broken hearts — and then something happened to change everything!

On the Rebound
Tripp’s (Lucas Adams) heart was broken by Ciara (Victoria Konefal). Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) returned and told Tripp that Theo dumped her and he told her about Ciara. As he comforted her, the two started kissing.

Hope (Kristian Alfonso) broke the Ben news to Rafe (Galen Gering), who was still reeling from Gabi’s situation. Ciara interrupted and asked if she could crash with Hope since she broke up with Tripp. Hope suggested she talk with Marlena.

What’s Up, Doc?
Marlena (Deidre Hall) met with Ben (Robert Scott Wilson), who claimed Sami making him reenact Will’s murder helped him realize the horror of what he’d done.

Ben also said seeing Will being alive changed everything — it gave him hope. Marlena later saw Hope and Rafe and had to tell them she couldn’t block Ben’s release because he’s truly remorseful.

Payback Is A…
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) said Theresa (Jen Lilley) left her behind in Mexico and tipped off Mateo about the rescue mission. Brady (Eric Martsolf) was furious.

Eve asked how Theresa could live with herself and admitted to Brady that Theresa did ask her to step aside, surprising him. Before she left, Eve threatened Theresa if she hurts Brady or Tate.

Alone, Theresa refused to apologize for being selfish and choosing to return to him. Brady didn’t care and threw her out of the house. Angry, she told him she was taking Tate with her.

Water Colored Memories
Will (Chandler Massey) and Paul (Christopher Sean) debated Will pursuing a cure for his amnesia. Paul feared it could kill Will, who wanted to help others by being a guinea pig for this.

Seeing Paul’s fear, Will asked if he feared his remembering his love for Sonny. Paul admitted he does have those fears but Will put his mind at ease. Paul supported him as Will left to undergo the procedure.
