Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Susan Banks Makes Shocking Return!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, November 2 features Sami determined to get back in that house and when she does – she’s in for a huge surprise!

For The Love of Elvis
John (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena (Deidre Hall) go looking for Sami (Alison Sweeney) at that house where they were at before. Sami finds a wall decoration with the letters EJ and flips out, especially when John and Marlena surprise her. They try to get her to leave but Sami refuses until she gets answers.

John searches the place and finds women’s clothes, cluing them in to Elvis living with a woman. They realize who it was and were stunned when they come face-to-face with someone from their past – Susan Banks (Eileen Davidson)!

Her Own Miracle?
Eve (Kassie DePaiva) announced that she’s moving in and caught up on things as Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) learned about her and Deimos (Vincent Irizarry). When Eve heard about Ben, she wondered about Paige (True O’Brien) and quickly headed out to find out more.

She’s Got Splaining To Do
Adrienne (Judi Evans) finally got Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) to let her in so she could explain what happened. He asks if they’re now good, but it’s obvious she’s having second thoughts about Justin. For some reason now she knows Justin loves her (interrupting her wedding didn’t?!). She cried, apologized, and left.

Elsewhere, Justin comforted Paul, who admitted his fear that he and Sonny could be over. Justin suggested he make sure he takes care of himself, and Paul was genuinely grateful for his support.

Adrienne arrived and updated Justin on her time with Lucas. She lets him know they’re not getting back together because of him. Elsewhere, Lucas gets a drink and notices that the bartender looks just like Will!

Father Knows Best
Abe (James Reynolds) hasn’t supported Lani’s (Sal Stowers) relationship with JJ (Casey Moss). But, trying to enjoy a meal with Abe and Valerie (Vanessa Williams) doesn’t go as smoothly as she wanted. JJ apologized for losing his cool with Ben and then told Abe how much he cares for Lani.

Eve then appeared and blew it all up with her question about Paige and blaming JJ for being on the outs with her daughter at the time of her death. JJ chased after her and then Lani saw him comforting Eve with a hug.
