The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for January 23 has Kayla catching on that Steve is having issues but no one realizes it’s because of John!
With Friends Like These
Steve (Stephen Nichols) had a dizzy spell and this time Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) noticed. He jokingly blamed John (Drake Hogestyn) for getting him drunk. Little did he know he’s RIGHT! But, before we learned that, Kayla examined Steve and told him to see an eye doctor.
Mind Your Own Business
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) took Anna (Leann Hunley) in for questioning, upsetting Roman (Josh Taylor). Hope warned him to stay out of it because the murder weapon was Tony’s urn, while Rafe questioned Anna and she asked for a lawyer.
Getting A Clue
Sonny (Freddie Smith) returned from his trip and told Brady (Eric Martsolf) and Eve (Kassie DePaiva) Andre’s dead. After he left, Eve asked Brady where he was last night since he got drunk and disappeared for a few hours. Sonny came back and overheard Brady say he killed Andre.
After watching Eve fly off the spool, Brady finally let her off the hook and said he was kidding. But Sonny didn’t hear that part. Meanwhile, Eve wanted to know where he really went. He said he couldn’t get to see Andre, and she teased maybe she killed him.

Sonny ran into Paul and apologized for how he treated him. He then told him he wanted to talk with him about his brother. Sonny chickened out but Paul appreciated being his sounding board. Sonny went back to confront Brady, who played dumb.
Heart-to-Heart
Will (Chandler Massey) talked to Marlena (Deidre Hall) about his frustration over Paul (Christopher Sean) not returning his feelings. Marlena advised him against pursuing Paul. After applying for work at the Pub, Will moved into Horton House to be near Paul.
