Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Steve Finally Got The Antidote!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for February 19 features John convincing Kayla that the syringe he has will save Steve’s life!

Coming Clean
John (Drake Hogestyn) finally admitted the truth to Steve (Stephen Nichols), Kayla (Mary Beth Evans), and Marlena (Deidre Hall). Steve wanted to know who wanted him dead and John gave up the head of the ISA – Paula VanDamme. It all went back to Joey confessing to killing Ava.

Kayla attacked John for going through with it and then learned John got orders to kill her and Joey too. He swore he’d do it because otherwise she was sending someone else and he couldn’t protect them. Steve started to seize and John convinced Kayla to give him the antedote.

Billie (Lisa Rinna) tried to dispose of the body of the shot man when Paula surprised her, asking what she was doing there. She asked who was in the body bag and Billie claimed it was John because he’s gone rogue. She didn’t fool Paula and both women pulled a gun.

Close Quarters
Paul (Christopher Sean) and Will (Chandler Massey) woke to find themselves tied up in the mausoleum. Paul explained what John did and how he was upset and the two bonded. When they heard someone, they screamed for help but quickly realized they had to save themselves. Paul broke free and untied Will.

John got a text that Billie neutralized Paula but then Will and Paul found Billie lying on the ground.

Surprise Guest
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) was shocked to see Abigail (Marci Miller) dressed as Gabi. He called her Abby and she corrected him that her name is Gabi. He started to put two and two together and realized she killed Andre and was trying to frame him for Andre’s murder.

Stefan was going to warn Chad but she stopped him, saying she’d tell what he and Vivian did to steal the company – and how he has Andre’s phone. She wanted to leave and he wouldn’t let her. “Gabi” then told Stefan he’d never have Abby but could have her and she kissed him before leaving. Back in her room, Abby snapped back to…being Abby.

Bonding Time
Tripp (Lucas Adams) was freaking after riding around with Ciara (Victoria Konefal). He started flirting and she asked about Claire. He said he’s moving on and Ciara looked pleased. Later, there was a knock on the door and Tripp opened it to find Paula.
