The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for March 8 features Gabigail getting a rude awakening, courtesy of Stefan – and what happens next shocks them both.
Split Decision
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) tried to explain to Gabigail (Marci Miller) that he set up Gabi (Camila Banus) to take the fall for her, which of course ticked her off. But then he showed her Kimberly’s book and tried to explain her situation. She just got angrier that he was calling her crazy.
Gabigail refused to believe what he was saying so she kissed him, asking if Abigail would do that. He forced her to look in the mirror. When she resisted again, he pulled off her wig. Gabigail couldn’t handle it so out came her other alter.
Crossing the Line
Gabi (Camila Banus) panicked when she found the missing coat and urn lid in her bag and tried to hide it from Will (Chandler Massey). After he took Ari, she tried to get rid of the evidence but first she left Chad a message and told him that Stefan planted evidence on her.
Lani (Sal Stowers) was spooked by Eli’s message, which worried JJ (Casey Moss). At work, Eli promised to keep lying to Gabi to protect Lani and JJ. He then suggested she tell JJ the truth before Gabi does. When he learned she was in the hospital, he asked about his baby.
Gabi went to turn what she found in at the police station but overheard Trask saying she wanted to put her in jail for the rest of her life.
She ran to the park and called Eli but got his voicemail. Meanwhile Trask got a tip and sent Lani to follow up. Lani found Gabi trying to throw the evidence in a dumpster and told her to stop.
Mixed Feelings?
Brady’s (Eric Martsolf) attempt to get Eve (Kassie DePaiva) to the altar was derailed when Tate got sick. After a heartwarming talk, he told Eve he loved her. He also said he meant it, taking her by surprise. She said it back and it shocked him. He then insisted they get married today.
Last Ditch Effort
Victor (John Aniston) tried to get Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) to come home but she asked if Eve knew the truth. When he said no, she told him forget it. He made Brady do this, he has to make it right. Those were her terms – or else they’re done.
