Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Sonny Tells Paul His Divorce Is Now Final!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for March 20 has Sonny acting out at Paul and Will moving on after receiving his final divorce decree.

Green-Eyed Monster
Sonny (Freddie Smith) had words with Paul (Christopher Sean) again about Will (Chandler Massey) and let him know their divorce was final as of today – which surprised Will who showed up as he said it. Sonny warned Paul that his ex would probably hurt him too. Despite that, Paul and Will had a nice date.

At the Pub, the bartender hit on Sonny again only this time Sonny asked him out on a date. The bartender turned him down because he met someone on a dating app. He helped Sonny set up his profile, helping him move on. When Sonny matched, the two celebrated.

Reunited And It Feels So Good
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) sees Kate (Lauren Koslow), who offers him a job at Countess Wilhelmina in return for not going on a date with Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin). He turned her down.

As Lucas tried to firm up the ice rink for a special “date” – Chloe arrived back early and asked who the special lady was. He admitted it was her, and he told Chloe he wanted to spoil her on their date. They took off for the ice rink. Later, a mystery man tells someone she’s back and he’s watching her.

Running On Empty
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) saw Shawn (Brandon Beemer) but got mad when Rafe (Galen Gering) called, asking her to return. She said no and that she had no idea when she would return. She then asked him not to call again and hung up on him. Shawn apologized for what his daughter did.

Shawn also said he hopes she and Rafe reconcile. Hope admitted she felt like a fool for having asked Sami where he was. Shawn let her know he was rooting for them to make it. Hope wanted to make a decision and asked Shawn to have Belle draw up divorce papers for her.

Exes and Ohhhhs
Kate went to see Rafe about an update in Andre’s case but saw he was in a bad way. He confided in her that Hope left town because of him. Kate tried to get him to see that he needs to give her time. Rafe returned Andre’s phone to Kate, making her nostalgic. She told Rafe he still has a chance to fix things.
