Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Salem Celebrated Love!

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Wednesday, September 27 has most of Salem heading off to join at least some kind of bachelor or bachelorette party, but that doesn’t mean there isn’t time for romance.

Pre-Party Fun
Before heading off to their individual parties, Steve (Stephen Nichols) stopped by to see Kayla and gave her a rose, happy to be meeting her at home later.

Over at the DiMera mansion, Justin let Abby know her marriage annulment came through — she’s free to marry Chad. Now on to the parties!

Brotherly Love
Over at the DiMeras, Andre (Thaao Penghlis) took his job, of throwing baby brother Chad (Billy Flynn) a bachelor party quite seriously. He even gave out party favors — an ascot for all, which included Chad, Sonny (Freddie Smith), Theo (Kyler Pettis), and Justin (Wally Kurth).

Apparently the prospect of having duck for dinner wasn’t very appealing so the men bolted to go crash Paul’s (Christopher Sean) party at the Brady Pub. Oddly, his own father wasn’t there, but Roman (Josh Taylor) and brother Brady (Eric Martsolf) were.

The stripper they got for Paul (gasp!) actually was someone he used to date, so that got a bit awkward, especially when Sonny arrived. But they pledged how much they love each other and all ended well.

Pity Party Table For Two
At Abigail’s (Marci Miller) bachelorette party, a stripper arrived (same one at Paul’s — solidifying that Salem is a small town), embarrassing Abigail as Hope (Kristian Alfonso) tried to shield Claire’s (Olivia Rose Keegan) eyes.

Away from the fun, Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) and Hope caught up. Hope asked how Kayla was holding up. She saw Steve earlier and she would be seeing him later but it was rough when they went to see Joey. She resents Steve getting close to Tripp.

Trouble Brewing
As Chad swore to Abby he will love her forever, we see a patient being scolded that he can’t have his meds on an empty stomach – as he looks at a story about the double wedding on The Intruder. We see he has keys… and therefore can escape at any time.
