The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, September 26 has one relationship ending before it even got the chance to start.
Start Spreading The News
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) has been fighting her feelings for Eric (Greg Vaughan) while also trying to make Brady (Eric Martsolf) feel secure about their relationship. She let him know that Eric has decided to leave the Horton Center and now she’s in charge.
Brady is shocked to learn this, and even appeared to have a case of the guilts. He called Eric to ask him what the heck he thinks he’s doing – that he didn’t mean he wanted him to leave town and everyone who loves him. Eric knows he’s done the best thing for everyone.
A Mother’s Love
Marlena (Deidre Hall) found Eric (Greg Vaughan) and questioned him about his feelings for Nicole. He said he needs to go to give Nicole the best chance at living a happy life with his brother.
Marlena was devastated but she understood. She found Brady and let him know how sad she is about it. Meanwhile, Nicole called Eric and asks him why he left. They eventually say their final goodbyes to one another. Much sadness all around!
Haunted By the Past
Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail (Marci Miller) desperately tried tracking Dario (Jordi Vilasuso) down, and in the end, it was Gabi (Camila Banus) who came through and got Dario on the phone for Abigail. He agreed to help out.
Eli (Lamon Archey) was also haunted by his past when he ran into Sheila (T-Boz). It’s hard to tell what went down between them, but it did come out that he never visited her in the slammer. Did he do something that sent her on her downward spiral?
Curiosity And That Cat
Bonnie (Judi Evans) got the goods on Victor (John Aniston) thanks to his call with Xander (Paul Telfer). She toyed with both Victor and Maggie (Suzanne Rogers) for a bit as she contemplated the best way to use her news to put the screws to Victor.
