Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Lucas Talks With “Will” Again

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Tuesday, October 10 features Lucas conjuring up his “dead” son Will once again – but it’s someone else who really brings him comfort.

What Dreams May Come
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) was still reeling from Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) claiming Will (Chandler Massey) may still be alive. He knows it can’t be true, but a part of him – the part that’s been great at conjuring up his “dead” son, is trying to not to completely fall part.

Last Shot
Sonny (Freddie Smith) headed straight for Kate (Lauren Koslow) to ask her to speak with Clyde (James Read), thinking she’d be the only one who could get to the truth about Will. When she heard he asked Lucas to dig up Will’s grave, Kate was angered and took off to find Lucas.

She found Lucas at Will’s grave talking to Will, but when Kate appeared (and Will disappeared), Lucas broke down. Kate comforted her son, begging him not to take another drink, and he poured out the liquor.

Devastated by the state Lucas is in, Kate ran into Sonny and Paul (Christopher Sean) and agreed to go see Clyde. She said she would be in touch. Once alone, Sonny and Paul reaffirmed their love for each other, though it was obvious Paul was worried.

Bittersweet Love
Nicole (Arianne Zucker) finally admitted to Eric (Greg Vaughan) that she’s in love with him and doesn’t want to leave. The two made love, but when the subject of where they go from here came up, both were weighed down by their sadness for Brady. She has no idea what’s next – she just knows that she wants Eric.

Meanwhile Brady (Eric Martsolf) eyed a bottle to alcohol as he awaited word from Nicole. Luckily, John arrived to distract him, looking for Paul. Brady admitted he has no idea where Nicole and Holly are. He also admitted he took Victor’s advice, mortifying John, who told him to fix things now.

Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) brought Holly home, and Brady sensed his ex was hiding something. After Nicole called, Brady apologized for grilling Chloe. Brady sensed something was wrong with Chloe and tried to get to the truth. She managed to leave but Brady’s spidey sense was tingling.

Nicole hated lying to Brady that she was with Brandon because she wanted to spend one night with Eric uninterrupted. Eric mentioned they would have to let go but Nicole said they’d discuss that in the morning – as they continued to make love into the night.
