The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, October 5 has Lucas learning that Sonny and Paul weren’t married after all — and then the unbelievable reason why.
Rocking His World
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) learned from Chloe that the wedding didn’t happen – and why. He then hightailed it over to Sonny’s to get the details, admitting to him he knew that he misses Will too.
Sonny then asked him about exhuming Will’s body so they can know the truth, but Lucas flat out refused.
As Sonny (Freddie Smith) pleaded, Lucas snapped – recounting about how nothing gets that image of his dead son on the slab – not even all the alcohol he drinks. The only thing he can do for him is let him rest in peace.
He stormed out and then cried outside the door. Sonny was ready to give up, but Paul (Christopher Sean) said he knows someone else who could help them.
Moving Forward
Gabi (Camila Banus) poured her heart out to Eli (Lamon Archey) about losing Will (Chandler Massey) and what it was like for her when she had found his body. She shared the toll it took on her and Ari.
Eli regretted the wedding not happening because he wanted to dance with Gabi. After a self-defense lesson, the two shared a passionate kiss.
Running Scared
Brady (Eric Martsolf) apologized to Nicole for being a pain to be around, forcing Nicole (Arianne Zucker) to once again try to placate him. She reaffirmed her love, and he felt better, ready to take on the toll of Titan’s work. But when he was gone, she couldn’t stop thinking about Eric (Greg Vaughan).
Then Chloe showed up and told Nicole about informing Lucas about Will possibly being alive. Nicole felt horrible for Lucas, especially since he’s drinking again. She noticed Chloe got squirrely and realized that Brady is drinking too, but Chloe covered. Then, at the Brady Pub, Brady stole a drink.
Nicole then filled Chloe in about Eric quitting the Horton Center and moving away from Salem, which she didn’t know. Nicole added that she had no idea why he left, but Chloe lets Nicole know Eric left town because of her.
