Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Lucas Gets A Visit From Will!!!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, September 15 reveal a broken-hearted Lucas (and drunk!) having an experience he won’t soon forget.

Dream Come True?
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) has been plagued with so many losses in the last few years and Kate made things worse by firing him. He asked for her support, and she asked how Will, if he were alive, would feel about seeing him drinking – which set Lucas off even more.

Drunk once again, Lucas made a scene in front of Chad (Billy Flynn), Abigail (Marci Miller), Paul (Christopher Sean), and Sonny (Freddie Smith) at the church. Lucas was furious when Sonny threatened to keep Ari from him until he sobers up, and berated Sonny for not standing by Will, attacking Paul too.

They insisted he wasn’t to drive and even took his bottle of booze. Abby wanted to call her mom and Chad agreed. Paul tried to comfort Sonny, but he was obviously shaken. After they left, Lucas railed at God until he heard “Dad” – and turned to see Will.

Touchy Subject
Sonny and Paul are two very sensitive guys, so they warned Gabi (Camila Banus) gently that their wedding is going to be a double one with Chad and Abigail. Gabi was a bit thrown but knew being a flower girl is something Ari is looking forward to and she would never disappoint her.

Out on a Limb
Marlena (Deidre Hall) has been putting the pieces of information she’s been gathering together and she formed a new hypothesis. She told John her wild theory that Adrienne might be the one who was in cahoots with Hattie.

Later, Bonnie walked into the pub and tried to get away but Marlena spotted her and asked her to join her and John to discuss Hattie. She said she could give them quite the lowdown on Hattie, and Marlena perks up. Earlier, Bonnie talked Justin into being Hattie’s lawyer.

Uncertain Future
Eli (Lamon Archey) told Abe (James Reynolds) he was fired from the FBI because of what happened with Gabi. Eli admitted that his boss has wanted him gone because he doesn’t always follow the rules. Abe asked him if he wanted to work at the Salem PD, and Eli was open to it. But first Abe needs to find a commissioner (hello, Eli?!).

Eli ran into Gabi and she mentioned the awkwardness of the double wedding. He offered his services as her date. Gabi appreciated the offer and let him know she needs to think about it.
