Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Kate Comes Face To Face With Will

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap  for Monday, November 27 features Kate seeing her very much alive grandson for the first time in two years.

Guilty Conscience
A guilt-ridden Kate (Lauren Koslow) was almost caught by Chad (Billy Flynn) confessing about Theo after talking to Stefano’s portrait but talked her way out of it. Chad let her know that Will is alive. Kate agreed not to descend on him but instead decided she needed to visit Theo.

Kate entered his hospital room and apologized to Theo (Kyler Pettis), wishing she was in that bed instead of him.

What’s Up, Doc?
Will (Chandler Massey) was shocked when Ari ran into his arms. He asked Marlena (Deidre Hall) to help him regain his memory. She wanted to start with tests first, but the hypnosis she mentioned appealed more to Will. Marlena put him under, but he remembered Susan, not Sami, and was disappointed.

Will wandered to the square and saw the plaque about Tom and Alice Horton, and he seemed moved by it. He then found an emotional Kate and offered her his handkerchief. She looked up to take it and was in shock when she saw him.

Cut Him Loose!
Abe (James Reynolds) was reeling from finding JJ (Casey Moss) in Theo’s hospital room and ordered Hope (Kristian Alfonso) to fire JJ. She refused, wanting to let the investigation pan out. So Abe fired her on the spot. Hope tried to talk him out of it, but Abe told her to clean out her office.

Lani found JJ back at the apartment and let him know she understands what happened. He was grateful she didn’t hate him – in fact she admitted she loves him and he admitted that he loves her. But JJ broke up with her anyway.

Sing A Song
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) visited Theo and played a song she wrote for him. Elsewhere, Tripp (Lucas Adams) tried to tell his father about Kate blackmailing him but it didn’t really work out. He vowed to continue protecting Kayla (Mary Beth Evans).

A Mother’s Love
Sami (Alison Sweeney) ran into Sonny (Freddie Smith) and the two bonded over Will. Sami then saw Gabi (Camila Banus) and Ari, and she was thrilled to spend time with her granddaughter. It gave Sonny and Gabi the chance to commiserate about Will. Later, Sami got an idea to help her son.
