In this historical Days of our Lives recap, originally penned by Diane Brounstein, it’s February 15, 2018, and JJ Deveraux is about to take a huge step in proving his love and devotion to Lani Price and their new family.
Days of our Lives Historical Recap Highlights
JJ (Casey Moss) got one of Alice Horton’s special rings from Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), but first, he wanted to talk with him since Jack couldn’t. JJ spoke of his love for Lani (Sal Stowers) and was shocked when Doug said they don’t have to marry these days. Lani interrupted and Doug left.
After dinner, JJ got down on one knee and showed her Alice’s ring. He then asked her to become his wife and an overwhelmed Lani was about to answer just as Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Gabi Hernandez (Camila Banus) arrived and took in what was happening.
Earlier, Eli spent time with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) but she gave Gabi a hard time so he told her to apologize. Julie insisted she was trying to protect Eli, but he insisted she was innocent. Trask interrupted and backed up Julie. Eli stood up for Gabi but when they left and saw Abby and Chad DiMera, Gabi told her off.
Eli caught up with Gabi and she said that she thinks Stefan DiMera’s the one who set her up – because Chad suspects him. So she filled him in on Chad’s theory. He promised to get to the truth and she thanked him for being there for her. He wished he was as great as she thought and she asked what he meant.

Days of Our Lives Recap: February 15, 2018
Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) explained everything to Jennifer Horton (Melissa Reeves), which made things on her date with Dr. Henry Shaw rather awkward. She told Eric to leave as she tried to salvage her date. Then Abby and Chad interrupted.
Henry said he knows her heart is with Eric and she tried to deny it. He decided to end things before he gets hurt. After talking with Julie, Jennifer found Eric at the Brady Pub and the two kissed.
DOOL Historical Recap: Pushing Buttons
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) continued to get under Chad (Billy Flynn) and Abigail’s (Marci Miller) skin when he sent champagne over to them – and then poured it. They tried to concentrate on each other but watching Stefan talking to Trask spoiled the mood. Back home, Chad told Abby he thinks Stefan killed Andre.
