Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: JJ’s Fate Has Been Decided

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, December 15 features Abe insisting that he wants to be there when JJ learns his career fate.

Guilty or Innocent?
JJ (Casey Moss) was  again plagued by nightmares of the shooting. Abby arrived but he didn’t want to answer the door. He finally did and she hugged him – but she got pushy so he asked her to leave. When he opened the door, Rafe was there and said a decision was made and he needed to come to the office now.

Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) confided in Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) how worried she was about JJ and her fear that only Theo waking up would help him. She told Jennifer that Chad and Kate brought in a specialist, and it gave her hope. Abby arrived and told them the verdict is in for JJ.

At the Salem PD, Lani (Sal Stowers), clued in by Abby, who arrived to support JJ. He tried to chase her away, but she wouldn’t go. He went into Rafe’s office to hear about the report and Abe (James Reynolds) entered, insisting he be there too.

Baiting the Trap
Steve (Stephen Nichols) met with Chad (Billy Flynn) to let him know he knows who sent Theo to the warehouse.

After, Steve set up Kate (Lauren Koslow), drawing out a confession. He then asked, “Have you heard enough?” Chad entered and said yes – he recorded it.

Earlier, Abe visited Theo, as did Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan). Lani comforted Valerie (Vanessa Williams), who was still blaming herself for what happened during Theo’s surgery. She asked Valerie why Abe couldn’t forgive JJ and Abe overheard. Valerie tries to speak with him but the specialist interrupted.

Seeing the Obvious
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) was in shock after hearing Rafe (Galen Gering) admit to sleeping with Sami. She came out of the shadows to speak with him but then couldn’t confront him. She did get snappy and Rafe asked what was up. But, then he got a call and had to go.

Ciara ran into Tripp (Lucas Adams) and railed against Claire. He stood up for her, making Ciara realize he has feelings for Claire. She kept insulting her and Tripp asked why she’s down on Claire. She yelled at him for making a move on Theo’s girlfriend as Claire walked up.

She lets Ciara have it as she told her about the specialist. Ciara walked off and lamented that everyone in town’s a stupid lying hypocrite. She then called Hope and said she needed to speak with her.
