Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Hope’s World Crashed Down Around Her!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for March 5 features the truth about Rafe’s affair with Sami.

The Secret Is Out
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) blurted out that Rafe (Galen Gering) cheated on Hope (Kristian Alfonso) with Sami.

Rafe confirmed, admitting he didn’t have the courage to tell her. Devastated, Hope slapped him and ran out of the room. Rafe found her on the park bench and tried to explain.

Hope felt like a fool as he tried to explain how it just happened, and she didn’t buy it. She thought he wanted it to happen.

Hope then realized this was was why Ciara was acting out. Knowing he let her daughter lie for him made Hope even more furious.

When he brought up their being married, she said they are no more.

The Secret Is Out
Ciara (Victoria Konefal) declared war on Claire after she destroyed her mother’s happiness. They fought in front of everyone and then Claire left – with Ciara on her heels. Claire tried to book a ticket to see Theo, and Ciara yelled at her not to run away.

Ciara then laced into Claire, telling her she had to be the center of attention, even if it meant breaking Hope’s heart – and then she punched her in the face. Tripp (Lucas Adams) asked them to remember their truce but Ciara claimed that was over.

Trouble in Paradise
Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) wanted to go after Hope but Eric (Greg Vaughan) stopped her. They ended up on opposite sides as Jennifer blamed Sami (Alison Sweeney) for this disaster and Eric stood up for his twin. They almost broke up but realized they were just having their first fight.

Good For The Soul
Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) attacked Gabi, who took out what happened to Hope on her. In private, Doug (Bill Hayes) told Julie to just stop with her Gabi hatred. Eli (Lamon Archey) and Gabi talked about what happened to Rafe and he confessed to her that he knew Rafe cheated on Hope.

Gabi was confused Rafe confided in Eli and not her. She asked if he told Rafe to tell Hope the truth and he explained how hard it would be for Rafe to do that, making Gabi wonder if he was still talking about Rafe. He admitted he was talking about himself and that he also cheated.

JJ (Casey Moss) tried to make sure Lani (Sal Stowers) was okay. He refused to pass judgment on Rafe since he did something similar. JJ said he changed because of Lani and because of their baby.
