The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for April 10 has Marlena figuring out quickly what the rest of Salem seems incapable of doing – and she may pay for it with her life.
Taking Advantage
Marlena (Deidre Hall) found ‘Abigail’ (Marci Miller) with Stefan (Tyler Christopher) and they claimed there was a PR emergency for DiMera.
Marlena called BS in her own way, remarking about the wig and outfit and suggested they could have their appointment now.
Gabigail told her Stefan could stay. Marlena spelled it all out as Stefan sweated, watching them. She told Gabigail she wouldn’t back off, and then asked her name.
Marlena then turned on Stefan, asking how long he’s known. Gabigail came to his defense – and kissed him. Marlena accused Stefan of being like his father.
When Marlena started to call Chad, they took her phone. Stefan threatened to ruin Marlena’s life if she said one word to anyone and told her to leave.
Marlena figured out Gabigail was the one on the video. Stefan quickly confessed to killing Andre and offered to turn himself in – but Gabigail knocked out Marlena instead.
Growing Closer?
Hope (Kristian Alfonso) returned and saw Rafe (Galen Gering).
She felt bad about Gabi being found guilty and the two argued about whether it was Gabi or Abby who lied. Rafe blamed himself for Gabi going to Statesville, and Hope comforted him. But then she told him she wanted an annulment.
On A Mission
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) realized Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was preoccupied with the opera offer.
He admitted he selfishly wants her to stay. Miguel arrived and Lucas thought he was going for a gun.
It turned out to be a first-class plane ticket to meet his employer. Lucas was upset that she was considering the offer but then he thought he knew who the mystery man was. Elsewhere, Miguel let his employer know Lucas was causing issues.

Rivals
Things got tense for the roommates as Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) continued to snipe with each other over the contest. Both made it into the Top 5, but Ciara was way ahead of Claire, which ticked her off.
The Gambler
Brady (Eric Martsolf) remained determined to win back Eve’s (Kassie DePaiva) affection but she was preoccupied with the results of the contest.
Brady was shocked Eve was so happy about Ciara leading since he thought she backed Claire. Tripp (Lucas Adams) overheard and worried about the war at his place.
Brady offered a bet – if Ciara wins, he would leave Eve alone but if Claire wins, she has to give him another chance. He met with Claire and told her to fight for it.
