The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, May 17 has Abigail in shock after Gabi slips about what happened between Gabigail and Stefan!
Mind Blown
Abigail (Marci Miller) visited Gabi (Camila Banus) at the hospital to apologize, but Gabi wasn’t about to let her off the hook. Abby tried to explain, but Gabi found it to be a cop-out.
She told Abby about how she testified at her trial, shocking Abby. She went off on her for using Ari’s bag to hide evidence too. Gabi then dropped the bomb that she slept with Stefan causing Chad to be arrested for assault.
As Gabi spoke, Abby remembered. Gabi thought she knew but didn’t feel particularly bad about it. Abigail vowed to get Gabi home to Ari as soon as she can. After Abby left, Chad arrived just as Gabi was saying what Abby did was unforgivable.
Feuding Brothers
Chad (Billy Flynn) dropped in on Stefan (Tyler Christopher) to get Abby’s things. Stefan delighted in pushing Chad’s buttons about Abby, trying to get Chad to lose it and kill him.
Chad proclaimed he wasn’t like him and quit DiMera. He also vowed to destroy Stefan. Later, Abby showed up to confront Stefan.
The Setup
Leo (Greg Rikaart) grabbed Sonny’s (Freddie Smith) phone, rejiggered the video camera he had so as to remove the footage of him taking the phone.
Leo then sent several sexual texts to himself from Sonny’s phone and then deleted the evidence. When Sonny returned, Leo “found” the phone and the two had a moment.
Leo turned up the heat, but Sonny refused to break the rules so Leo resigned. The two then went at it right in the office as the camera recorded it all.

Second Chances?
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) questioned Kate (Lauren Koslow) and told her forensics showed Vivian wasn’t holding the gun and wasn’t shot during a struggle.
Hope pressed for the truth. Kate explained why Vivian pulled a gun, but Hope asked what she was hiding. Kate walked out since she wasn’t under arrest.
Later Hope admitted to Rafe she felt conflicted about the annulment and then threw the papers in the trash.
