The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, April 20 features the walls closing in on Gabigail–and then Chad finds her in Stefan’s bed.
Mother of a Problem
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) left Vivian (Louise Sorel) in the secret room where she was shocked to see Marlena (Deidre Hall). She begged him to let her out, and while he promised it wouldn’t be for long, he left. Marlena realized Vivian knew about Abby’s alter.
Mystery Solved!
Kate (Lauren Koslow) was stunned to learn Abigail (Marci Miller) was the mystery woman. As Abby tried to escape her mind and contact Kate, Gabigail knocked her out.
Stefan couldn’t believe she did that to yet another person, but with no other choice, he threw her in with Marlena and Vivian. The two women filled in Kate. Marlena shared that Stefan confessed to killing Andre but Vivian denied it. She then told them Abby killed Andre.
Feeling Betrayed
Chad (Billy Flynn) got mad at Gabi (Camila Banus) for badmouthing Abby, so Gabi told him if he didn’t like what she had to say, he could leave. She then apologized. He got Kate’s message about the mystery woman and headed home to investigate.
Moving To The Next Level!
Stefan and Gabigail prepared to leave for the island. She was surprised he was willing to give everything up for her and it drew them together. As he kissed her, Abigail saw Stefan in her mind kissing her and came out. Abby freaked out and he begged Gabigail to come back and she finally did. Gabigail decided making love would get rid of Abby.

Gabigail convinced him, so despite his reservations, Stefan took her to bed. Gabigail told him she loved him and he said he loved her. Chad then barged into Stefan’s room, and told the naked woman to turn around. When he saw ‘Abby,’ he froze in his tracks.
For Gabi’s Sake
Rafe (Galen Gering) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) waited for Shawn to work the security head to get the footage they needed to learn the mystery woman’s identity. Hope let him know she still wanted him to sign the papers. And he refused.
When they looked at the tape, they agreed something was familiar about her. Rafe then figured out it could be Abby. Later, they saw her face and realized it was indeed Abigail.
On the Hunt
John (Drake Hogestyn) turned to Paul (Christopher Sean) for help finding Marlena. Paul let him know that Kate is missing as well. John told him that Abigail was the last patient she had and something didn’t seem quite right with her.
