The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Thursday, September 21 features Brady barely able to contain his jealousy as he pressures Eric to fire Nicole so that she won’t have to see him every day.
Loose Lips
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) went to tell Nicole and Eric her good news about buying Club TBD with Julie, but somehow they both magically knew this information already. What? Did Julie text everyone their good fortune? Hmm. After Eric sent Nicole home, Chloe apologized for telling Brady about Eric’s feelings for Nicole.
When Nicole (Arianne Zucker) made it home, saying Eric had let her go, Brady started to say how sorry he was that she was fired. She set him straight, and he quickly covered. Once she was out of sight, he called Eric and pressured him to fire her immediately.
Wedding Snag
Abigail (Marci Miller) told Chad (Billy Flynn) she wanted to wait for them to make love, but he kept trying to get her up to the bedroom. Abby then remembered it wasn’t that long ago he was sharing that bed with someone else. Cue awkward moment!
Abby then got stuck with the task of updating viewers at home with everything that happened to them recently and Chad tried to stop her by reminding her how much he loves her. But he looked troubled by what she said.
Guilty Feelings
Gabi (Camila Banus) and Eli (Lamon Archey) enjoyed each other’s company, but eventually Gabi figured out why Eli had been fired from his job. She offered to talk with Rafe about a job at the Salem PD, but Eli wasn’t sure that would work. But he confirmed taking her to the double wedding.
Surprising Adversaries
As candidates for the commissioner job, Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) were put in a tricky position. Neither wanted to be the other’s boss, or so they told Lani (Sal Stowers) and JJ (Casey Moss) respectively. But both ended up deciding to go for it because they were told the other wasn’t interested.
