The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, May 4 has Brady pouring out his heart to Eve, and as he seemed to make progress, he begged for another chance.
Against Her Will
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) was shocked to see Brady’s ex, Theresa (Jen Lilley), who told her Miguel’s boss is Mateo — the same man who took her away from Brady and Tate.
Theresa filled her in on everything but warned she is Mateo’s newest obsession. Tears fell as Theresa heard about Tate — making it official that Theresa’s back! Chloe also updated her on Brady’s life since she left, including Eve, shocking Theresa.
On the Wagon
Speaking of Brady (Eric Martsolf), he was thrilled to see Eve (Kassie DePaiva) who still didn’t believe him.
Cue Marlena (Deidre Hall) who had his toxicology results: Brady didn’t drink.
Prodded by Maggie (Suzanne Rogers), Claire found Eve and Brady and confessed to rigging the contest. Later, Ciara (Victoria Konefal) said she would ask them to take it easy on Claire.
Meanwhile, Brady poured his heart out to Eve, and he begged her to take another chance on him — on them.
On A Mission
Lucas (Bryan Dattilo) showed Kate (Lauren Koslow) Chloe’s note and heard what happened to her. She read Chloe’s note and begged him not to risk everything to find her.

Inner Turmoil
Meanwhile, Abigail (Marci Miller) encountered Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) in her head. He told her he was the only one who could help her by teaching her to accept that she’s mentally ill and always would be. Ben promised to love her no matter what.
Chad spoke from his heart to reach Abby. Laura tried to fight him, but in the end, she was no match. Abby pushed Ben away from her head and ran out the door (of her mind) to reunite with Chad.
