The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, April 13 features Abigail locked in Marlena’s office – in her head – and her cry for help was answered by a surprising source.
Something’s Not Right
John (Drake Hogestyn) was worried about Marlena (Deidre Hall) despite the text. He happened upon Kate (Lauren Koslow) at the Pub and learned her last patient was Abby.
Meanwhile, Marlena realized she was in the DiMera tunnel. She also remembered it was Gabigail who hit her. She tried screaming for help but to no avail.
Not Adding Up
Chad (Billy Flynn) ran into Jennifer (Melissa Reeves) and asked how she was feeling. He quickly realized that Abby lied to him when she claimed to be with her mother. Later, Jennifer saw Kate and asked if she had a comment about Gabi’s verdict. Kate stuck up for Gabi.
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) found Gabigail (Marci Miller) singing beautifully at the piano.
He warned her to remove her wig, which she finally did. He then told her Gabi was found guilty, which pleased her.
He left to check on Marlena, and Chad arrived – and quickly confronted her about lying to him.
Abigail was locked inside “Marlena’s office” in her head and wondered how she got there. She remembered bits and pieces of their interaction and then realized she was trapped.
As Chad argued with Gabigail, Abby could hear bits and pieces. Gabigail told him he’s smothering her. She offered to make an appointment with Marlena.
Abby called out for help from Chad but instead, Andre visited her and offered to help. Meanwhile, Gabigail started to get a headache but then John showed up and asked if she’d seen Marlena.
Stefan checked on Marlena and asked if everything was okay. Of course, it wasn’t. Marlena taunted him that he doesn’t really know what’s going on, and he admitted he doesn’t want her well because he loves Gabigail.
She tried to tell him she doesn’t exist and Abigail will fight back. She offered to help him with his obsession.
Claire Being Claire
Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) asked Theo to rig the contest but he resisted. Ciara (Victoria Konefal) soon arrived and they both realized Tripp (Lucas Adams) voted for Claire.
Alone, Ciara asked Tripp to leave her alone but he refused. He explained that Claire needed it more than she does. Ciara said she wasn’t going to be anyone’s second choice.
He told her Claire got his vote but she got him. When she didn’t say anything, he figured she didn’t want him until she grabbed him for a huge kiss.
