The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Monday, May 7 features Abigail finally getting the chance to talk with Chad… but what he had to say was really hard to hear.
Love Wins
Chad (Billy Flynn) gently filled Abby (Marci Miller) in about her alters and she was curious about why she needed protection. While Chad told her he’d met the alters, she seemed to recall bits and pieces.
Abby promised him she would never cheat on him as Chad remembered her doing just that, but of course that was Gabby. He refrained from telling her the truth, but Abby wondered if he and Thomas would be better off if she never came back.
She asked Chad why now — why did her mental issues return? She realized Chad knew. As he started to tell here about Andre, she eyed the glasses.
Steve (Stephen Nichols) threatened Stefan (Tyler Christopher) about Abby. He compared him to Stefano, berating him. Stefan asked if Chad’s so good for her, why does she keep having breakdowns? Kayla arrived as Steve told Stefan he will end it with Abby.
A Friend in Need
Marlena (Deidre Hall) visited Kate (Lauren Koslow), who was having a hard time believing Andre could double-cross her, though a part of her totally believed it. But, her big fear was that getting closer was a ploy suggested by Vivian.
Sister Act
Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin) tried to escape, but Theresa (Jen Lilley) warned her against it. Chloe then filled her in on Eve and Bradt — and the plan to get her shares.
Chloe told her that it was her leaving that bonded them. Theresa was hurt to hear Brady refused to give up on Eve, though Chloe said he’d forget Eve if Theresa returned.
Major Setback
As Brady (Eric Martsolf) begged for another chance, he had a medical crisis. Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) worked on him and let Eve (Kassie DePaiva) know he was stable again but she couldn’t give any guarantees because of his transplanted heart.
Brady woke up to find Eve caressing his cheek, and he got her to admit she loves him too.
