Days of Our Lives (DOOL) Recap: Abby’s Alter Is Dr. Laura!

The Days of Our Lives (DOOL) recap for Friday, March 9 features Stefan meeting Dr. Laura, Abigail’s gatekeeper personality, and she revealed a huge secret.

Big Trouble
Stefan (Tyler Christopher) came face-to-face with Abigail’s second alter – Dr. Laura. She seemed to know she was part of Abby and controls the transitions as the gatekeeper. She said she protects them both and then admitted that Gabigail didn’t kill Andre – Abby did! Abby’s guilt created Gabby — who doesn’t feel guilt.

Unable to understand since Abby loved Andre, Stefan asked Dr. Laura why Abby did this. She didn’t go into detail but did take him to task for his interest in Abby.

She told him she made her life more difficult by telling Gabigail she’s not real. Now she’s stuck with damage control. Abigail was later allowed out and realized she lost time.

Arresting Development
Lani (Sal Stowers) caught Gabi (Camila Banus) with the evidence that Stefan had Vivian plant. Gabi used the “you slept with my man” card, but Lani insisted she’s still taking her to the station. Once there, Trask gave Gabi a hard time until Justin (Wally Kurth) arrived and told her to back off.

Chad (Billy Flynn) was also there and asked Gabi what happened when Justin and Trask had to see the judge. When she told him, he let her know it’s bad.

Eli arrived and Gabi was cold to him. Justin came back and said the judge revoked her bail. Eli comforted Gabi and said they need to find out who impersonated her.

Crossing the Line
Earlier, Eli (Lamon Archey) found JJ (Casey Moss) at the Pub and questioned him about Lani’s hospital scare. JJ asked why he’s so protective of Lani’s baby, and then Lani arrived and told Eli to get to the station because she had to arrest Gabi.

Surprising Wedding
Sonny (Freddie Smith) was shocked to hear Eve (Kassie DePaiva) and Brady (Eric Martsolf) planned to wed.

He tried to warn her that Brady might be conning her. Eve then attacked him but later apologized. Brady arrived and showed Eve an engagement ring. He put it on her and she loved it.

Sonny and Paul (Christopher Sean) caught up, as Sonny got snarky by letting him know his divorce is almost final, clearing the way for him and Will. Justin arrived and updated both about Gabi. Victor (John Aniston) tried calling Brady but he didn’t take the call.

Eve arrived and Justin started the wedding. When it was time to take her vows, she said she wouldn’t marry him if he was the last man on earth!
