After decades as our beloved Marlena Evans on “Days of Our Lives” the formidable Deidre Hall is about to get a high Hollywood honor.
On May 19, the soap vet gets her long-awaited star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. We can’t say the honor isn’t well deserved.
Hall began her DAYS career 40 years ago in 1976. She quickly became one of the most popular actresses on the Salem scene. She was so popular that in 1982, when Marlena’s twin, Samantha (played by Hall’s twin, Andrea) was killed, fans thought Marlena died and picketed the NBC studios.
The actress spent some years off DAYS doing primetime and made-for-TV movies, but always returns to Salem where Hall and Marlena call home.
Congratulations, Deidre, on your Hollywood Star!
