The Terrible Trio has been wreaking havoc on Days of Our Lives, and the terror has brought several couples closer together and torn others apart.
Fear can make people do strange things – or it can make emotional choices more clear. Several Salem couples have been affected, but will they still be standing once the dust clears? Soap Hub asked you which couples won’t make it once the Terrible Trio’s reign of terror ends.
They’re Toast
After over 9,500 people voted, 63% of you believe that Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) and Theo (Kyler Pettis) will no longer be a couple. You saw the way Ciara (Vivian Jovanni) was cradling him after his father Abe (James Reynolds) was shot right in front of his eyes. You suspect her feelings for him have grown, while Claire remains too self-centered to truly care for Theo the way he needs. Ever since Ciara has had her Chad (Billy Flynn) fever broken, she’s appreciating Theo in a whole new way. You know it’s just a matter of time until these two really connect and Claire goes off to make her own beautiful music.

Blackmail Rules
It seems that 31% of you don’t see Hope (Kristian Alfonso) and Rafe (Galen Gering) making it all the way through. You know that Aiden’s (Daniel Cosgrove) got the goods on Hope and if she doesn’t want to go to jail, or be responsible for sending Rafe and Roman (Josh Taylor) there too, she’s going to have to comply with Aiden’s demands. It doesn’t matter how much she may love Rafe; the fact that she admitted to killing Stefano while Aiden’s phone was recording has sealed her fate. She will have to protect the others since they protected her.
Too Controlling
Barely anyone, only 6%, think that Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) won’t survive through this crisis. Those of you who do – you believe that Steve’s controlling nature will get the best of him, and he will turn Kayla off with his behavior. Then again, maybe you suspect that Joey won’t survive his kidnapping and you know if anything happens to him, it will be too much for Steve and Kayla. Their hearts will be broken and there’s no way they are strong enough to survive his loss.
