Here’s the latest casting news from the NBC soap.

The week of August 28, 2017
Victoria Konefal has nabbed the pivotal role of Ciara, the late Bo (Peter Reckell) and Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) daughter.

The character, last played by Vivian Jovanni, was written off the soap in May.

Konefal’s credits include a guest spot as Rivka on Modern Family in 2016 and the role of Amelia in the film The Wrong Crush. She’ll make her Salem debut in December.

On the exit front, Morgan Fairchild wrapped up her stint as Anjelica Deveraux, when the character succumbed to a heart attack on August 25. Fairchild made her debut in the role in June.

It also looks like Kyler Pettis has finished his run as Theo. The actor posted video of what appeared to be his final scenes on the soap on Vimeo. However, the material has since been deleted.
