Days of Our Lives Casting Several New Roles

It looks like  Days of Our Lives is casting some new short-term roles.

According it Soap Opera Digest, it’s not known whether there’s a  possibility any of them will transition to long term, but most of these additions seem to be on the seedy side. Could they be joining the evil threesome? Each one sounds interesting and capable of generating interesting story angles. Let’s see if we can figure out where they may fit in.

Toby
Toby is 35-years-old, but the name Toby could be a man or a woman. What we do know is that the character is untrustworthy and a lazy drain on society. Could they be a son or daughter of someone we don’t know about? Or, could the person be manipulated to do someone’s dirty work?

Tiffany
She will be a 23-26-year-old spunky con artist. Could she catch the eye of one of the single men on the show like Dario (Jordi Vilasuso)? It’s also possible she knew Summer (Marie Wilson) or was even dispatched to Salem by Summer to take care of some unfinished business.

He is a 50-60-year old upscale, elegant Eastern European male. It would make sense that Grigor would interact with Anna (Leann Hunley) and Andre (Thaao Penghlis), either as a suitor for her or perhaps a business associate of his.

Russ
This character is a 30-35-year-old. He comes across as a bit strung-out and threatening, but he knows every illegal thing going on in the city. He’d be a good contact for Eduardo (A Martinez) or perhaps he’s someone who could cause him trouble.
