Salem may get some new high society members in a few months. “Days of Our Lives” has issued a casting call for two new married characters who sound like they’ll fit in with the town elite.
According toSoap Opera Digest, the show has plans for two new short-term characters named Brad and Vicky Bush.
Both characters are in either their late 40s or late 50s. Brad is a high-powered businessman with quite the snobbish attitude. Vicky also loves her high society life that consists of her share of drinking, as well as younger men. Can anyone say cougar? It also sounds like Vicky could give Kate (Lauren Koslow) a run for her money.

It’s anyone’s guess how this pair will be related to anyone already on the canvas, but it looks like they’ll bring a combination of comedy and drama to the show. Perhaps they’ll be an interesting mature couple like Doug and Julie (Bill Hayes and Susan Seaforth Hayes).
Remember, with the roles not yet cast and DAYS’ six-month lead time, you likely won’t see them on screen until late summer or fall.
