Days of our Lives Brady: Fans Have Strong Feelings About Brady and Tate

On Days of Our Lives (DOOL), Brady is hardly the worst Salem parent ever.

After all, Julie’s (Susan Seaforth Hayes) mother dumped her on Alice (Frances Reid) and Tom (Macdonald Carey), Marlena (Deidre Hall) completely forgot Eric (Greg Vaughn) for almost a decade while dealing with the admittedly devil child that was Sami (Allison Sweeney),

Speaking of missing kids, where are those twins that Justin (Wally Kurth) and Adrianne (Judi Evans) were so ecstatic to adopt, or Alexander, Justin’s son they fought so hard to take away from his natural mother, Angelica? You’d think Sonny (Freddie Smith) was their one and only!

So Brady (Eric Martsolf) comes from a long line of less than attentive parents. But that doesn’t mean the viewers are OK with his recent seeming disregard of Tate. Here’s what almost 4,000 judgmental Supernannies have to say about his fathering skills.

Building Bonds
Think about what the poor Tater tot has been through, cry 93% of you! First, he gets extracted from Theresa’s (Jen Lilly) womb (maybe he can swap science fiction stories with Erica Kane’s unaborted son, Josh, over on All My Children). Then he’s birthed by Kristen (Eileen Davidson) and named Christopher.

Mama Kristen goes out a window and now it’s Mama Theresa. Oh, and your name is now Tate. Also, here’s Daddy Brady! Then Mama takes off for stupid reasons even a baby could see through, and it’s just Daddy.

Except it looks like Daddy has bigger fish to fry. Namely Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and her daughter, Holly. Well, that’s just unacceptable. Focus on your own baby before you go rescuing someone else’s!

Cute Off
As Patty (or was it Selma) said on The Simpsons, “The bigger they are, the cuter they’re not.” Sorry, Tate, 6% of the audience chimes in, Holly is littler than you, more adorable than you… and she’s got a hot mama. Your mama took off. So why should Brady care about either of you anymore?
