Matthew Ashford made his on-screen comeback as Jack Deveraux on Days of Our Lives on Monday, but when we only saw the back of his head, something hilarious happened off-screen we’re only learning about now.
Of course, it only seemed hilarious to Lamon Archey (Eli) at first, while Sal Stowers (Lani) was horrified.
It’s easy to see how sweet and caring Stowers is when Ashford apparently walked right into a planter in Horton Square. We don’t see it, but it caused a lot of laughs for Archey.
Stowers, on the other hand, was highly concerned and wanted to make sure Ashford was ok. Thankfully, the actor saw the humor in what he did and was perfectly fine.
While we’re not sure if this was Ashford’s first day back as DAYS tapes out of order, it was quite the welcome for the actor who spent six long years away from Salem. Welcome back, Jack (and Matt).
