Dr. Rolf’s “Bring ‘Em Back Alive” drug has already revived Will and Vivian, but there are a few other Days of our Lives (DOOL) departed who really need a shot of the resurrection serum.
We’re talking about killed off characters, both good and bad, who never should have met their maker. So, why not have the miracle medicine, with an assist from some clever rewrites, come to their aid and give them another chance at life in Salem?
Here are a few characters we’d welcome back to Salem with open arms.
EJ DiMera
During her blink-and-you-missed-it appearance at Susan’s Nashville home, Kristen (Eileen Davidson) muttered that EJ (James Scott) was still alive.
However, her big announcement wasn’t followed up with a glimpse of her brother or a mention of where he might actually be.
How about having him turn up in a foreign facility where we learn Dr. Rolf injected him with his magic drug and send the returning Sami (Alison Sweeney) off on a mission to find him?
Bo Brady
When last seen in Salem, Bo (Peter Reckell) succumbed to a brain tumor in Hope’s (Kristian Alfonso) loving arms.
What if the late Stefano, who’s always had a vendetta against the Bradys, switched out his body with a double and whisked Bo off to a secret island where Dr. Rolf worked his potent potion wizardry?
He could return to town with no memories of his past, as the DiMera’s latest brainwash victim.
Tony DiMera
Anna’s (Leann Hunley) been a basket case since her beloved Tony’s (Thaao Penghlis) death, but what if he wasn’t really a goner?
It wouldn’t be the first time he’s been carted away, held against his will, and kept from contacting his loved ones. Tony, could be also be a resurrection serum recipient, who makes his way home now that the late Andre’s minions have released him.
Andre DiMera
Of course, Andre could actually be alive, thanks to Rolf’s wonder drug. Whoever whisked off Vivian (Louise Sorel) could have done the same to Andre.
And, who knows, viewers could see them side-by-side in the same medical lab. Andre’s return from the dead would stir the house of DiMera, which would now have him, Chad (Billy Flynn), and Stefan (Tyler Christopher) all battling for control of the empire.
