The week of May 9, 2022

Stephanie Johnson will finally be heading home to Salem. Abigail Klein has been cast as Steve (Stephen Nichols) and Kayla Johnson’s (Mary Beth Evans) daughter, the role previously portrayed by Shelley Hennig. She’ll make her debut on the second installment of Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem and then segue over to the NBC soap.

Klein’s credits include Code Black, GLOW, S.W.A.T., and American Housewife. She also had a day role as a nanny on The Young and the Restless back in 2011

It’s a wrap for William Christian as Lani’s (Sal Stowers) diabolical biological father, TR Coates. The character will meet his maker this week when Lani shoots and kills him. Christian made his debut as TR last January.

Bruce Beaty is back as Salem University Hospital’s administrator Seth Burns. He’ll appear in scenes with Mary Beth Evans’ Kayla on Tuesday, May 10.

Days of our Lives History

DAYS made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

From Sami Brady’s (Alison Sweeney) crazy schemes to Victor Kiriakis’s (John Aniston) one-liners to the epic love story of John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), DAYS knows how to entertain and keep fans coming back for more. Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.

DAYS Comings And Goings: Bringing the Drama

DAYS is one of four soap operas currently on the air. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
