The week of October 10, 2022

Lucas Adams returns to Salem as Tripp Johnson on Friday, October 14, to visit his ailing stepmother, Kayla Brady Johnson (Mary Beth Evans). Adams last aired in June, when his character left town and moved to Seattle after his breakup with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold).

Meanwhile, a pair of actors who debuted on Days of our Lives: Beyond Salem 2 join the main soap this week. Tanner Stine debuts as the new Joey Johnson on Friday, October 14, to support his mom, Kayla. Stine perhaps is best known for his role as Oyster on The Thundermans. Joey was previously played by James Lastovic (2015-2017, 2020).
