DAYS Alum Christopher Sean Behind The Scenes On NCIS Los Angeles

 Comments

It’s been quite some time since we’ve seen Days of our Lives’s Paul Narita in Salem. Christopher Sean left the show in 2018 when his character went off to San Francisco to enter a program to help him possibly walk again — after falling three stories while saving Sami Brady DiMera from Kristen DiMera. But the actor has kept very busy.

Since leaving the show, Sean had a recurring role on Hawaii Five-0 and did the voice for Kazuda Xiono in Star Wars Resistance. Most recently, he popped up as a guest of NCIS Los Angeles, and the actor talked about his experience on social media. Playing LAPD Detective Jack Tanaka, Sean’s character takes things into his own hands when his elderly Japanese American father is the victim of a hate crime.

“[NCISLA] was such a beautiful show to be a part of,” he posted on Instagram. “It meant much more than a job. It had a powerful message against racism and xenophobia. I was honored to portray that vigilante. Love matters. #StopAsianHate.”

Sean posted a number of images of those he worked with in the episode, including some behind-the-scenes shots from the set. “Thank you to the whole cast,” he wrote. “They were so kind and professional and just all around Badasses!”

He singled out several of his co-stars, including Gerald McRaney, who he noted “has always been and still is a legend”; and LL Cool J, who Sean admitted he grew up listening to his music. “He was awesome,” he noted and added the musician also gave him a sneak peek of some of his new music.

Sean also got to work with Chris O’Donnell who played Dick Grayson/Robin in the 1997 film Batman & Robin. Sean also voices Nightwing in the Gotham Nights video game, and the two shared some love over playing the same character.

“So cool to share that title with him,” Sean said. “Holy rusted metal Batman!” The actor also paid tribute to the episode’s scribe, Kyle Harimoto, calling his story impactful, brave and powerful, especially for the times. He finished by thanking the fans who have supported him throughout his career. “I appreciate everyone for tuning in,” he wrote. “It’s because of you I get to live my dream. Thank you all for believing in me.”
