On Days Of Our Lives, Julie’s heart is failing… and Doug’s heart is breaking. Lani (Sal Stowers) and Eli (Lamon Archey) are blaming Gabi (Camila Banus). Because she watched Julie (Susan Seaforth Hayes) collapse… She heard her beg for help… and she walked away. But Gabi had her reasons. Are fans buying them? What over 4,000 of you had to say:
Fault Less
This wasn’t Gabi and Julie’s first encounter of this sort, 52% of the audience reminds. Julie has faked a heart attack and blamed Gabi before. Yes, faked. She may look like just a sweet, helpless old lady now, but Julie was a rebellious teen back in the day… and quite the vixen as an adult.
She lied, she schemed, the manipulated. And old age hasn’t made her forget how. Gabi had every reason to believe that Julie was playing her again… and Gabi didn’t feel like playing.
Add to that the fact that Julie wasn’t apologizing to Gabi for all the names she’s called her over the years, just apologizing in case any of them were racially insensitive. (Frankly, Julie is racially insensitive every time she puts a special emphasis on “Gabriella.”) Who wouldn’t have ignored her?
Killer Caught
This is all Gabi’s fault, 47% of of the fans counter. Who looks down at an old lady gasping for air on the ground, begging for help, and walks off without a second look? A cold-blooded bitch named Gabi, that’s who.
The time between Gabi abandoning her and Ciara (Victoria Konefal) and Ben (Robert Scott Wilson) finding her could have made the difference between Julie’s recovery and her heart going past the point of no return damage.
Gabi’s actions could have saved Julie’s life. Instead, they doomed her. Of course, she’s to blame, and Doug (Bill Hayes) and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) should press charges! Days of our Lives (DOOL) airs weekdays on NBC. Check your local listings for airtimes.
