After several days of acting even more strangely than usual, Days Of Our Lives’ Nicole was revealed to be Kristen DiMera…in one heck of a disguise! She’s claiming to be Nicole back from the dead as a way to get her beloved Brady (Eric Martsolf) back.
But does that mean the real Nicole (Ariane Zucker) could still be alive? For, we don’t know — model-making purposes? What over 4,000 voters are expecting to happen:
Staying Alive
Of course, the real Nicole is alive, 79% of you don’t doubt it for a minute. For one thing, Kristen (Stacey Haiduk) is bound to be exposed eventually. For another, Kristen has now faked Holly’s death, which means mother and daughter still need to be reunited. And, finally, does anyone in Salem ever die? Ever? Of course, Nicole is alive!
This Kristen story is undoubtedly a short-term thing. Fans are still going to need closure for the Nicole-Eric (Greg Vaughan) romance. Her fake return this time screwed up Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) and Eric.
But they haven’t been together all that long — or, you know, at all. So there wasn’t that much at stake. But, if the real Nicole comes back once that relationship has actually gotten some traction, now we’ve got a story!
Dead Again
Could she just stay dead? Please? That’s what 21% of the audience is begging. Nicole had run her course — and pretty much through every man — on her last go-around. There’s nothing — and no one — for her to do in Salem. Now that Holly has been disappeared, there’s really not a single reason for Nicole to return.
And she was kind of grating when she was around. Selfish, needy, indifferent to whom she hurts as long as it got her own way. We’ve got Claire (Olivia Rose Keegan) for that now. Well, at least for now…
