From the moment Sonny Kiriakis found out that Chloe Lane’s dad was head over heels in love with Leo Stark on Days of our Lives, he has been obsessed with breaking them up. Yes, yes, yes, Leo set up Sonny, blackmailed him, humiliated him, almost cost Sonny the love of his life, Will Horton.

Days of our Lives: You’re My Obsession

Leo (Greg Rikaart) is a bad, bad man, and Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) is a dumb, dumb man for falling for him…and agreeing to tie the knot. But with the hysterical way Sonny (Zach Tinker) is acting, doesn’t it seem like a bit more than just a desire to see justice served?

DAYS: Vested Interest

Now, Craig’s daughter, Chloe (Nadia Bjorlin), has a perfectly good reason for hating her daddy’s new squeeze. The bastard lied to her mother for decades, then broke her heart — and let her find out in the most brutal way possible. If she wants to wipe Leo from Craig’s life, her wrath appears justified.

And yet, Chloe takes breaks from scheming against Leo to make out with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), and talk about how they’ll tell his little girl that Chloe is now Daddy’s girlfriend. In other words, Chloe has other stuff going on in her life. Sonny…doesn’t seem to.

Days of our Lives: Left Behind

Sonny has a husband and stepdaughter in Arizona, not to mention a foundation he and his brothers set up in their late mother’s name to help develop a cure for breast cancer. And yet, he keeps hanging around Salem. Thinking about Leo. All day…and night.

Sonny isn’t acting like a concerned friend or even a vengeful ex. He’s acting like a jealous man who can’t stand the guy he was once attracted to hooking up with somebody else. Sonny doesn’t just seem to want Leo away from Craig. He seems to want Leo for himself. Which, frankly, is just what this otherwise dull story needs!
