Some people on Days of our Lives are paranoid, and some truly have enemies out to get them. In Theresa’s case, she’s not imagining that she and Alex are doomed. It’s pretty inevitable. And, when it does happen, it will be all Theresa’s fault. Why this pairing has no chance — no matter how hard Theresa tries to pretend otherwise.
Meant To Be
When Theresa (Emily O’Brien) lies awake at night, imagining the fallout from Alex (Robert Scott Wilson) learning that she faked the papers that made him think he was Victor’s (John Aniston) son — and caused him and Justin (Wally Kurth) an untold amount of pain — the only thing that makes her stop hyperventilating is the self-delusion that, when he does find out, Alex will be so impressed with Theresa’s scheming that he’ll decide they’re two peas in a pod…and love her even more.
Before the Fall
Of course, there is always the possibility that Theresa will end up leaving Alex of her own accord. After all, she had no idea he had this intense of a jealous streak. Alex didn’t appreciate catching Theresa kissing Brady (Eric Martsolf).
And now he’s even encouraging Kristen (Stacy Haiduk) to get back together with her baby daddy…in order to keep Brady from Theresa. Theresa might not appreciate that kind of possessiveness. She should be the only nut in any relationship. Like God intended.
Circle of Lies
But, in the end, Theresa will likely never get the chance to find out. Because Alex will stumble on the truth eventually — Xander (Paul Telfer) is Victor’s long-lost son, not Alex. He’ll discover that Konstantin (John Kapelos) may have dreamed up the scheme. But Theresa carried it out. And Theresa made sure to hook up with Alex before he found out — lest he think she was just after his money. She isn’t just after his money. She’s after his name. And his abs. Either way, Alex won’t let her keep any of it.
