Nicole Walker went through hell and back to become a mom on Days of our Lives. After many, many years, she finally got her miracle thanks to Chloe Lane — and then lost the baby for months while being held hostage. Now, she’s in a good place in her life and has every opportunity to finally be a mommy – but we never see her little girl anymore.
Days of our Lives: Home For The Holly-Days
In general, soaps tend to forget about kids. They are rarely seen or heard and often seem to be left to their own devices. The lucky ones get nannies to care for their every need. Some (like Chloe’s son Parker) get to grow up in different cities raised by family, and some go to boarding school only to return as teens. Little Holly, however, is supposedly home with Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) but is hardly ever spoken about — and pretty much never seen.
Okay, sure, watching Nicole play house isn’t exactly the level of excitement you want on Days of our Lives but it would give a bit more depth. As of right now, Nicole is a pretty sad case. She was dumped by EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), is pining after Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gearing), and is basically the world’s worst friend (just ask Ava Vitali). Let her take a break from all that nonsense and get back to what’s really important – her daughter.

Some downtime with Holly would be a great change for not only the character but the viewers as well. A bit mundane, sure, but heartwarming nonetheless. Heck, we didn’t even get to see sweet Holly go trick-or-treating, open Christmas presents, or visit Santa. It’s time to get this girl back on the canvas for some mommy-and-me time.
