Days of our Lives viewers thought we’d seen all the effects of the biscuits Talia poisoned – for some reason. We saw Johnny propose to Chanel, Stefan confuse Melinda for Gabi, Rafe see a very large stuffed animal after kissing Jada, Gabi try to seduce her husband, and Eric show Nicole his big banana. But it turns out that wasn’t the whole story.

Although we didn’t get to watch it on screen, EJ told Nicole (Arianne Zucker) that his own drugging involved him going to the office and getting so loopy that he took pictures of his naked behind and distributed copies to the staff.
Aside from the dozens of sexual harassment lawsuits that he just potentially triggered, we can’t help but wonder what would have happened if EJ’s hallucinations had kicked in while he was driving to work – and he’d mowed down a pedestrian thinking he was playing a particularly realistic video game? Does Talia’s little sabotage still seem quite so charming and wacky?
DOOL: Age of Consent
Gabi (Camilla Banus) thought Li (Remington Hoffman) was Stefan (Brandon Barash), and did her best to get him into bed. Li proved himself a gentleman and put a stop to the proceedings – no matter how much he may have wanted to sleep with his wife. But can we assume that everyone who ate one of Talia’s biscuits was equally chivalrous? How many cases of rape might they have provoked? So wacky!

Days of our Lives: Crime Doesn’t Pay
Who wants to bet that, once the truth comes out, Talia will have some big, teary-eyed excuse about how she did it for love or whatever, and Chanel (Raven Bowens) will decline to press charges because, hey, everybody makes mistakes. Since she is the only victim, it’s all up to her, right?
If Melinda (Tina Huang) tries to point out the criminality of what she did, she’ll be accused of being a bitter old maid who is only getting revenge for Stefan not wanting her. And the whole incident will be swept under the rug. Without our ever getting a full accounting of ALL the people, Talia’s little stunt hurt.
