There’s never a dull moment when Greg Rikaart’s Leo Stark is around…that in and of itself is praiseworthy. But Soap Hub is bestowing Performer of the Week honors on this beloved DAYS actor for his most recent pot stirring scenes.

Greg Rikaart — Performer of the Week

When it comes to Leo, what you see is never what you get. When Craig Wesley (Kevin Spirtas) was hedging whether or not he should continue dating his much younger, trouble prone beau, Rikaart played dejected and distraught…but was Leo really upset over the prospect of losing Craig, or was he fearing a future without his sugar daddy?

Arguably, Rikaart’s best scenes were the ones opposite Patrika Darbo’s on a tear Nancy Wesley. Leo said all the right things – well, all the things that perhaps one should say when confronted by their lover’s estranged missus – and seemed outwardly sincere…for the most part.

But then again, there were those lovely little actor touches like Rikaart taking a moment to gaze into the mirror behind Nancy and fluff his ruffled hair. And when a furious Nancy – don’t you dare call her Nance – doused Leo in champagne, Rikaart had a boffo retort: “At least it wasn’t hot chowder.”

Rikaart brought further funny during a contentious dinner date with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin). “I’ve binged enough ‘Housewives’ to know a two-faced heifer when I see one, but you ‘Ghoul Girl’ and your one, two, THREE faces, well, this takes the cake!” Girl bye, indeed!

Honorable Mention: Patrika Darbo

Darbo has a habit of stealing the spotlight. She can’t help it…really, she can’t. For example, look no further than her first meeting with Greg Rikaart’s Leo which consisted of Nancy reading Craig’s side piece for filth and then explaining that he could take the olive branch that he was attempting to extend and, “stick it where the sun don’t shine!”
