Leo is really putting the screws to Sloan Petersen Brady on Days of our Lives. He knows that her adopted baby is actually Nicole’s presumed dead son (though even Leo doesn’t know the tot is actually biologically Eric’s). Sloan paid him off. But Leo is a man of big appetites. He’ll never have enough. And she’ll never give enough. So Sloan needs some other way to end this. What options does she truly have, though?
The Law of the Land
Sloan (Jessica Serfaty) is an officer of the court. If she’s convicted of a crime, she will lose her license to practice law. If Leo (Greg Rikaart) spills, she won’t just lose Jude, she won’t just lose Eric (Greg Vaughan), she won’t just lose her freedom if she goes to prison (though she is a pretty good lawyer, a rarity in Salem), but she will lose her career, which she loves above all else. Sloan has no choice but to keep paying Leo off, to prevent any of that from happening. (Refresh how he became Sloan’s worst nightmare here.)
Confession Is Good For Sloan Petersen‘s Soul
Sloan can beat Leo to the punch by rushing to Nicole (Arianne Zucker) and telling her the truth, first. She can claim she just found out, and she rushed right over. Leo can claim he knew all along, but then he’ll have to explain why he kept mum. And Leo might not want to do that, either. (If only because it will make him an accessory after the fact.) So Nicole gets her baby, Sloan is a heroine in Eric’s eyes, and Leo’s hands are tied. A win-win for all.
No Going Back
But Sloan did a terrific job stalking Paulina (Jackee Harry) and Chanel (Raven Bowens) with no one being the wiser. We have great faith that she’ll be able to eliminate Leo without anyone connecting it to her…or to Nicole’s baby.
