There’s no question that would be a very interesting way to send the characters packing. However, it’s highly unlikely that DAYS would kill off the four characters.
Johnny and Tate are both legacy characters. They are tied to the Brady and DiMera families, meaning the show will probably want to bring them back into the fold at some point.
As for the other two, Sophia doesn’t have any real beef with Chanel, so if one of the four were to be killed off, it would definitely be Holly.
Sophia hates Holly because she’s the one Tate wants and not her. Holly played a key role in exposing Sophia’s lies. Having Holly be killed would make for an interesting storyline that would impact not just Tate but also Maggie (Suzanne Rogers).
However, there’s still plenty of storyline to play out before Chanel, Johnny, Holly, and Tate are off-screen. DAYS films nearly 10 months in advance, so these four will be on-screen until later this year, which will be an awfully long time for the Sophia revenge madness to play out. Then again, storylines played out much longer in the soap world.
