Emails From Afar: What DAYS’ Sami Brady Has To Tell Nicole

Nicole has just tied the knot with EJ on Days of our Lives. His son, Johnny was there but his daughter, Sydney, wasn’t. Neither was Johnny and Sydney’s mother, Sami Brady. That doesn’t mean she wasn’t there in spirit, though. Sami made a point of sending a very special email to her children’s new stepmother.

From The Desk of Sami Brady: Dear Nicole

Well, you did it. And, this time, you didn’t even have to fake a pregnancy to get EJ to the altar. I hear you really are carrying a little DiMera heir. Good luck with that. They’re lively little fetuses. And, it just builds from there. Sydney is doing great, by the way. She has no memory of being kidnapped as an infant or of calling you Mommy — which is good. The last thing I need is my daughter picking up bad habits from a piece of trash like you.

And that goes for my son, too. Just because you’re Johnny’s stepmother now, doesn’t mean you get a say in his life. He tells me Holly is a sweet enough kid, so maybe you’re a decent parent but stick to your children and leave mine alone. I’m sure Holly will show her true Walker colors sooner rather than later. I don’t want my son caught in the crossfire.

Main Event

And, then there’s EJ. Try not to break his heart, OK? Only I’m allowed to do that — and I happen to be very good at it. What he and I have will never be matched or repeated or even come close to. You’re just a distraction. Something to occupy his time when I’m not around.

As a placeholder, your job is to keep him amused enough. I’ll let you know when I’m ready to come back to Salem and pick up where EJ and I left off. Until then, enjoy the big house, the servants, the food, and the clothes. Remember, I can make it all disappear with a snap of a finger. Or a smile in EJ’s direction.
