Days of our Lives had another exciting week that touched on nostalgia, drama, and love. Here’s a look at the best moments from September 15-19.

Steve’s Reminded of John

In a tear-jerker moment, Steve (Stephen Nichols) revealed to Kayla (Mary Beth Evans) why helping Brady (Eric Martsolf) find out if Baby T is Tate’s (Leo Howard) baby was so important to him.

The reason is John (Drake Hogestyn). It took John years to find out who he really was, and Steve doesn’t want that for John’s great-grandchild. Steve oozed with pain as he remembered a friend he clearly misses so much.

Tony Makes His Move

Oh, how great it is to have Tony (Thaao Penghlis) back in the mix. Tony showing up at the press conference for Stephanie’s (Abigail Klein) book release to drop his lawsuit news was priceless.

The DiMera cockiness and confidence were on full display as Tony pushed Alex’s (Robert Scott Wilson) buttons, and he announced he was contesting the DiMera takeover, claiming fraud. Tony’s signature smile added even more entertainment to the moment.

Kate and Anna Mix It Up

It was a treat watching Anna (Leann Hunley) and Kate (Lauren Koslow) on screen again. These two politely discussing Philip’s (John-Paul Lavoisier) fraud and Tony’s lawsuit was pure entertainment.

Kate and Anna have history, which was apparent in the scenes. Their jabs were a reminder of the good old soap days when a calm, civil manner spoke volumes. Plus, Hunley and Koslow brought their A-game to these super enjoyable scenes.

Xander Holds Back

Sarah (Linsey Godfrey) is the great love of Xander’s (Paul Telfer) life. So, when she asked if there was a chance for them to reconcile, we expected him to jump at the chance.

Instead, Xander blew her off and made an excuse to leave. Looking before leaping isn’t really Xander’s forte. Xander doing that is why this small, subtle moment made our list, especially since we all know he’s lying to Sarah again about beating up Philip.

There are two honorable mentions this week. The first is Tate kissing Sophia (Rachel Boyd) as a ploy to get information from her, and the second is Alex blaming Stephanie for the Titan-DiMera lawsuit drama.
