Days of our Lives is well-known for its romance and drama but it’s also known for its endearing friendships. These BFFs keep us tuning in as they stand by each other and keep Salem going strong.
From Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) and Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker), no one can deny the love and good times these great buddies bring to the table. They help each other, save each other, and even help each other build families.
Of course, sometimes things get a little sticky like it is for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Don’t worry, though, these ladies aren’t going to let a little romp in the sheets take away their girl power! Much like cop extraordinaire Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) helping Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), her buddy, hide from authorities. Nothing like a little crime to bond with your gal pal.
Is there any friendship more inspiring than that between former bad boys Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson)? Or, the mutual respect and kindness between Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) and Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans)? We look forward to years more adventures with these dynamic duos!

DOOL made its debut in 1965 and is one of the longest-running daytime soap operas in American history. It has outlasted other soaps to become a mainstay for many households. Needless to say, five decades of storylines have kept viewers locked in and wanting more.

Fans love their daytime soap operas and the excitement in Salem is non-stop.

More than fifty of gripping drama as well as love in the afternoon have kept this NBC daytime soap on the air and winning Daytime Emmys. The other three daytime dramas include General Hospital (GH), The Young and the Restless (YR), and The Bold and the Beautiful (BB).
