When it comes to Days of our Lives, every fan has their own opinion – and Soap Hub is no different. For five days we sat and watched the good, the bad, and everything in between, and now we offer you a handy review, and a cheeky critique, of the Days of our Lives week that was.
I hate to break it Kristen (Stacy Haiduk), but Bo’s (Peter Reckell) being alive isn’t “explosive” news that’s “going to change everybody’s lives.”
In point of fact, it’s not going to make that much difference one way or the other. Bo and Hope (Kristian Alfonso) reunite and head for parts unknown? *Shrugs* Fine, great. Bo and Hope don’t reunite and go their separate ways? *Shrugs* Fine, great.
Either way, it’s not really going to have much bearing on Days of our Lives proper because the returns are finite, the tale practically a side story to the other Salem-based goings on, and the only onscreen characters who could possibly be affected by either outcome is Shawn (Brandon Beemer). Hope and Bo will be gone, ditto Ciara (Victoria Konefal).
[Well, I do suppose that Roman (Josh Taylor) will be momentarily affected given that Bo supposedly put a bullet in Kate (Lauren Koslow), but we all know not to count out Kate.]
It’ll have been a fun diversion, but a mite pointless if you ask me.
* Gabi (Camila Banus) and Stefan (Brandon Barash) and EJ (Dan Feuerriegel) and Nicole (Arianne Zucker) — not to mention Anna (Leann Hunley) and Tony (Thaao Penghlis) — all occupying the same domicile? That’s the stuff of soapy goodness.
* So, despite knowing that Bo was armed and dangerous, Harris (Steve Burton) just sends Hope on her way to Victor’s childhood home without nary a warning?
* We seem to be no closer to sussing out Talia’s (Aketra Sevillian) reasoning for spiking those biscuits and that’s a shame.
